Netsitesが廃業してしまったら、.jpドメインを預けておく海外の無料サーバが無い。

無料で、広告が無くて、LAMPでという所が見つからない。

国内サーバだと、Mが無いところばかりだし、.jpドメイン持ち込もうなら有料だったり、Mを使おうとしたら有料だったり。自宅サーバだったり。。。

有料の所でも海外サーバでは.jpドメインが使えるところが少ない。

時間の合間に探し回るしかないか。。。

あと一週間で廃業するから、データをバックアップしろというadminからの連絡です。企業の終焉とはこんなものなんですね。ドメイン名もサイトもオークションにかけられるなんて。

ドメインを取得するなら、経営基盤のしっかりした所でないと駄目ですね。

経営基盤がしっかりしてるかどうかは、判断する材料も無いんですけどね。

愉快堂で取得したドメインはヒューメイアが引き受けたけど、今回のNetsitesはオークションにかけられる前にヘルプ・デスクと掛け合ってEPP Auth Keyを取得しないと駄目なんですね。

私には、実害は無いんですが、.jpドメインを登録できる無料ホスティングが無くなったのが一番の打撃です。

こんなメールがGoogleから届いた。

どうやら、、Wiki風のサイト構築ツールのようだ。

米グーグル、企業向けに情報共有サービス・無償で開始

これのことだ。

徘徊していたら、無料レンタルサーバのオーナーの募集ページがあった。

そこそこのフランチャイズ料が必要なんだろう、IPアドレスもちゃんとログに残ってるよな。。。でも覗いてみたい。

決済前にキャンセルすれば安全だしだからクリックしろ！と探求心旺盛な革新系の心が騒ぐ。

待て待て、そんな物を申し込んで、どうやってマーケティングして資金を回収するんだ？と保守派の心が説得している。

そんな葛藤の中で、思い切ってOrderのボタンをクリック。

表示された金額は。。。

サブドメイン型→無料

.infoドメイン型→2.99US$/Year

.com/.net/.orgドメイン型→8.99US$/Year

なに？？これ？？？正味ドメインの維持費だけでした。

そんなら、いっちょ申し込みしてみるかと、申し込み。支払いは当然PayPalで。

メールで届いたのは、サイトのURL, 管理用パネルのURL, アドミンのIDとパスワード。そして英語の説明がタラタラと。。。

早速、FTPで全部のドキュメントをダウンロードして、デザインのカスタマイズとキャッチコピーの和訳中です。

一応、自分でアカウント取得して、いろいろなCMSの日本語版がインストールできるかテストしたり、ホニャララを試してみたりしながら、コピーを考えてます。

リリースしたら、Bytehost系初の日本語サイトになると思います。

たった2.99$ですが、良い勉強になりました。

未完成ながら、既にGoogle Webmaster Tools, Yahoo Site Explorer, Windows Live Search Webmaster Toolsには登録してますので、そのうち検索にヒットするようになるかと思います。

フリーのホスティングを見て回っていたら、こんなサイトがあった。

美国では$65のテンプレート代と$80のLayeredPanel代、毎月のサーバー代金が月$15程度？で始められるのか。。。

X10HOSTINGはいつまでもDNSが死んでいる。

newsit.esはばかでかいバナーが表示されるようになってしまった。

タダはタダでしかないのか。。。。

Joomla!の1.5がリリースされたので、新しくサーバを借りて全部書き換えすることにした。

借りたサーバは、HOSTGATOR

日本語対応cPanel, ディスク容量2.5GB, Bandwidth45GB, SQLもAnonymous FTPも可能。

広告は、こんなのを貼り付けておけば良いだけで無料。

ただし、レジストレーションはクイズを解いていくような感じ。

レジストするのに１時間以上かかってしまった。でも、タダだから許せちゃう。

なかなか、良いが、難問・奇問をクリアしてたどり着いたら、DNSとFTPが死んでいた。

そのうち復旧するだろう。

探せば結構あるもので。。。無料＆広告無しのサーバがあちこちに見つかったので、WordPress用に一つ借りてみた。20GBのスペースで300GBのBandwidth。FTPもOK。MySQLは5本。ただし、ネームサーバを向こうに委ねなければならないので、blogのサブドメインを作った。blog.gapps.netのネームサーバに指定のネームサーバを登録して、準備完了。後は、サーバの設置場所の時間を一致させるだけ。タダ借りしたのは、こちら http://www.newsit.es/

PPのオネエチャンに頼まれて、lagunaのドメインを取得しようとしたが、ほとんど取得されてしまっていた。

ならば、サブドメインで誤魔化すしかないが、適当な名前のドメインの持ち合わせが無い。

それらしき名前でblogbiz.infoをname.comで取得した。お値段$2.99。

しかもGoogle Appsのアカウントも同時に取得してくれる。

まさしくフルオートマチック。面倒な設定は全く不要でメールアカウントの最大数は200。あっと言う間に全て終了。

.com, .net, .org, .info, .bizを取得されるなら、name.comはお勧め。ちょっと勝手が違うのが、最初のGmail Teamからのお便り。これが、やっぱり英文。Settingsから言語を日本語に変えれば、ちゃんと日本語の表示になったけど、Gmail Teamのメールは翻訳されなかった。

肝心のlagunaは、サブドメインを作って、Hostsnakeでアカウントを取ってWordPressを入れて、デザインをちょっといじくり、完成。

Hostsnakeは20GBのスペースと300GBのBandwidth,MySQL5本。メールアカウントは無制限。でも、嘘か誠かわからない？？

登録画面は雑すぎで非常に見にくい。

トップメニューのplansも何故かregisterにリンクされている。

でも、タダなんだから、構わない。。。

Googleのイメージ検索で拾い上げたムームードメインのコントロールパネル。何？これ？？ロリポップが女性向け？チカッパは男性向け？ヘテムルはクリエーター向け？冗談でしょ。
